Enjoy the feminine Polo in Sotogrande this weekend!

Santa María Polo Club, for the second consecutive year, will host the Spanish Championship Women's Polo, the biggest womens polo event worldwide.

From the 22 to the 24th of July eight teams and a total of 32 national and International players will compete on the Polo pitches in the heart of Sotogrande. The tournament, which has many fans and lovers of the sport will be played at levels 12 to 14 handicap. This will be a years that the women’s Polo will become more important in Polo.

This spectacular event will have players of great quality and tenacity from 15 countries such as Australia or the United States, among others, and is a prelude to the 45th International INDI Polo Tournament that starts next week.

T32 Players have already arrived in Stogrande.. Among the participants you will find the young semi-finalist of last year , the  2015 winner Mia Cambiaso, the Bayswater Team and the Argentinean Lia Salvo, who is currently the No. 3 in the world in women's category and has 8 goals handicap.

Maddie is a new face this year. She is a Young women of 16 years and the winner of the US National High School Polo and also is already the captain of the female American Team 2016..

And in addition to all international players there is also Carla Alvarez from Spain.

The female Polo Matches are the perfect occasion to meet in Sotogrande.

Spanish Championship Women's Polo continues to be an exciting event at the Santa María Polo Club: They are turning this event into a international reference in the female category.
