The Medium Handicap went to Santa Quiteria who took the Gold Cup by defeating Valecuatro in the final by Esperanza Anaconda 10 to 9. The brothers Joseph and Gonzalo Entrecanales, Pedro Cieza Soria and Patrick managed the win.

This 40th edition of the BMW International Polo Tournament in Sotogrande could not have had a better closure after the grand final.
